Learning disability is a neurological processing problem that hinders basic skills such as reading and writing and numerical computation, as well as the development of advanced learning skills such as construct or reasoning. According to the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the United States, these problems are caused by different parts of the brain, affecting brain function and structure. And these disorders are also related to brain information processing.
In most cases, children with disabilities can be found before school. And it can remain as a problem that can not be restored or fixed, but it can be managed through proper education and support.
Types of Learning Disabilities
1. Dyslexia: Dyslexia is a common learning disorder that affects children's reading and language-related abilities. The degree of dyslexia varies from person to person and affects reading, thawing, understanding, memory, writing, spelling, and other related disabilities.
In recent years, the term dyslexia has been used to refer to a broad category of language impairment. Dyslexia also includes the ability to manipulate children's hearing and vocal sounds, as well as their ability to read and write accurately. This basic reading ability is defective and children who have dyslexia do not understand what they are reading and development of vocabulary skills is slowed down considerably. Nevertheless, many dyslexic patients also show a tendency to picture, music, 3D visual perception, physical education, and mechanical ability.
1. Natal Acid Syndrome : Acidosis is a learning disability that affects children's ability to solve and understand mathematical concepts as they relate to computation and mathematics. There are many types of mathematical obstacles, which have a significant impact on living. Children with acidosis have difficulty manipulating numbers in their heads and do not remember formulas and equations. And they do not understand mathematical symbols, they do not remember numbers, and they can not even read clocks.
2. I am writing: I have a difficulty in writing. It is a kind of learning disorder that affects the child's writing ability and fine movement ability. 3. ADHD : ADHD is a very poorly focused impairment, and there are two main types. One of them, Hyperactivity - A child with impulsive ADHD spends considerable time in activity. In other words, it keeps moving, does not stop talking, and can not control anger.
On the other hand, children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) fail to follow instructions, spend considerable time fantasizing, process information, and lack organizational skills.
Although ADHD is not considered a learning disorder, 30-50% of children with ADHD have specific learning disabilities, and these two problems are combined to make learning difficult.
4. Non-verbal learning disabilities (NLD): Non-verbal learning disabilities are neurological syndromes that occur in the right brain. A child with an NLD has strong language skills, memory, writing skills, and hearing. But it lacks social skills and does not understand facial expressions and gestures. Many of the NLDs are unable to respond to change, and some have less social judgment. It lacks coordination ability, has a balance problem, and can not perform fine movements.
Learning disability is not an intellectual disability. Most people with learning disabilities have an IQ above average.
As long as they provide appropriate opportunities, there is a good chance that they will succeed in their respective environments.
