The Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center in Virginia, USA, officially opened on Tuesday.

The owner of the facility explained that it was Tommy White and he had to pay his own finances, along with $ 30,000 collected as a "Samaraiin donation".

According to White, there is a procedure to restore injured wild birds.

First, the damaged bird is sent to the cage in its size. The birds must not move until they are wounded and fully healed.

After the injured birds are restored to some extent, they must be placed on a hedge that has limited activity and should have a space to move and spread their wings when recovering.

The rescue center aims to heal, recover, and return injured large birds, including birds such as eagles and big owls, to the wild.

White has saved more than 85 wild birds this year and has returned over 12 birds to the wild over the past few months.

White said, "I want to look at the sky and see not only walking but also flying things, to widen the universe."
